Summer reading

I’ve had a lot of time to read this summer. I had an accident in May and I just started back to work in August. I have been addicted to the books written by Jodi Picoult. I know many people are reading her because the last book was made into a movie, My Sister’s Keeper. It was ok, but I have enjoyed many of her other books. The last one I read was entitled Mercy. It had to do with a man who killed his wife because she was dying of cancer and asked him to do it, because he loved her. What I like about Jodi’s books is that she tells them from a variety of points of view. Jodi also sometimes tells the story out of order. That bothers me sometimes and other times it fits the stories. The book I really enjoyed by Jodi was Plain Truth which took place in the Amish section of Pennsylvania. Jodi does excellent research for all her books. Her details are perfect.
