Swimming with my Baby

Today being Wednesday, it was time to take my 14-month-old girl, Lily, swimming. As usual lately, she only had breakfast at 10:30, so we couldn’t have lunch before we went, although I managed to grab a tuna mayo roll before we left. While I had it I made her a tuna pasta salad, so she could have something nutritious afterwards. We managed to leave the house at just gone 12. Lily was pretty tired by now, and as we drove she drifted off to sleep. She often does this – it’s a really silly time to put on the toddler swimming session, as between 12:15 and 1:15 (the toddler swim time) she’s either sleepy or hungry, as are most toddlers I know of. Anyway, I woke her up by getting her out of the car, and we walked across to the pool. When we got there, they told us that the teaching pool was closing as it was too cold.
