Cake can and is eaten on pretty much every occasion you can think of, and some you can’t. There are always those beautiful cakes that look too good to be eaten. Not in the case of this website though. Cake wrecks is a blog dedicated to finding, horrible, ugly and down right cakes that make you wonder what the heck the decorator was thinking. The blog is updated every day, and every day is different. Each day has a set of related cakes that are wrecked. Some you can’t even tell what they are. For example, one day was baby shower cakes. Some were ugly as sin, others you had to squint to see what it was, and another, a cake that was supposed to resemble a baby was down right creepy. It’s not all bad though, every Sunday is called “Sunday Sweets”. This is the day dedicated to awesome, wonderful cakes. That look amazing, they are again all related in the post. One of my favorite Sunday Sweets was the fairy tales one. Pictures of beautiful cakes that looked like dragons and castles, and adorable fairies. The owner of the blog is very amusing with her comments, and makes you laugh every time. She is not ever down right mean, and keeps the humor light. Cake Wrecks only mocks cakes that are actually paid for, meaning (usually) no homemade cakes. It is a great site I visit every day, and it never fails to amuse.
